SCAN suspended in Huxley 410 and 411 until June 29th

The Maths SCAN will not be operational in Huxley 410 and 411 from the evening of Tuesday, May 15th, until Friday, June 29th. This suspension of SCAN computing facilities is to allow final year students to undertake projects on these systems while they are running Windows full time. The SCAN facilities in Huxley 215 will not be affected by this change of operation times in Huxley 410 and 411 and normal SCAN servcie will resume in these rooms on the evening of teh 29th, with the SCAN once again being available in 411 from 6pm and in 410 from 8pm onwards.

Closure of the Maths Physics Computing room, Huxley 6m36

The Maths Physics computing room will be closing soon for conversion into postgraduate accomodation. The Maths Phys cluster will be relocated to Huxley 131 and 616 while two Linux systems and a single Alpha will move to Huxley 613. More...
