November 2023 update:

With both the College's PPTP and OpenVPN-based VPN services due to be discontinued on December 5th and replaced by the new Unified Access system, some aspects of the new service may adversely affect some users in Maths. Some issues are known and we are currently testing & evaluating Zscaler on various platforms to learn more about possible problems when using it. However, using the Maths ssh gateways it is still possible to create your own connections to individual systems within College independently of central services and new documentation is being prepared that pulls together various existing articles on the Sysnews website to make it easier for users to set these up.
